| I got my hair cut and highlighted today. It feels good when you get a hair cut. Makes you feel new. Tomorrow is my last day directing cameras at my church and actually my last day at church because I will be back in Lakeland come next sunday. I am countning down the days. | | |
| so today has been a busy day. It started off with getting lab work done. It all went okay. I should get results on monday. After that my mom, sister and I went to Ihop for breakfast and then we went to this gift and collectables shop and my mom bought me a Viera Bradly purse. It is the Windsor Navy pattern. I really like it. We then went to the mall and shopped for Mercy some school clothes. We got home around 230ish. Overall the day has been good. | | |
| Well yesterday was a busy day. I had a doctors appointment which took forever. He just poked at me and then told me that I need to have lab work done so I have to go this friday and get that done  . The highlight of yesterday was that I got to go shopping for school clothes and I actually found some that fit good and that I liked. I still need to do some more shopping before I leave next week. I am so looking forward to getting back to school and seeing all my friends and especially seeing my boyfriend and getting to spend time with him. Well Its off to work I go. | I just got back from a great weekend in Thomasville, GA with my boyfriend and his family. I had a wonderful time. His family was so welcoming to me and made me feel at home. We went Scalloping on Saturday out in the gulf of mexico near St. Marks, Fl. It was alot of fun. I had never been scalloping before and i had a fun time learning how to find and catch the scallops. We were out on the water from like 10am to 4ish. After Ian and I got home and got cleaned up we went to Downtown Thomasville. There we went to go see a bunch of his friends at a place called "The Submarine" It was a place that they had renovated and made into a hangout and concert place. There were two bands that played that night and they were all good. Sunday We went to church and then to lunch with friends of his. After that we went back to his house. We both left at 5 to head home. Him to Lakeland and Me to Crestview. I am so glad I got to go. It was nice getting away for a little while and have some fun.
Only a little less then two weeks and I will be back at School. I am looking forward to it greatly! | | |
| So it has been forever since I have even looked at my xanga site. Not much has changed on here but a lot has changed in my life. For starters, my sister got married in May and that was a lil hard for me. Her husband and I don't get along the greatest. I mean we are polite to each other but that is the extent of it. Another change that has happened is that My Parents have adopted my lil cousin Mercy who is 7 years old. Her mom died almost two years ago in a car accident. She doesn't have a dad. It has been an adjustment for all of us but it is turning out really well. I am learning who to be a big sister. It has been a cool experience so far. Well those are the two big changes that have happened. Now onto other stuff.
My year as an RA was good. I had some hard times but it all turned out to be a great experience. I learned alot about myself and alot about other people. I have really good memories and made great friendships with some wonderful girl which of whom I miss alot. I am looking forward to getting back to school in three weeks. I miss my friends and my boyfriend.
My summer jobs has be a learning experience for me. I am interning as a Media Director at my home church. I direct cameras on sunday and during the week I do various things such as copy loads of cds and dvds, clean and organized the production room, do research on new equipment, and train new camera operators.
